490 Protesters Killed in Iran as Government Reports 111 Security Force Deaths

A human rights organization reports:
🔻 Over the past two weeks, 490 protesters and 48 members of Iran’s security forces have been killed.
🔻 The Iranian government says 111 security force members were killed.
🔻 In four provinces of Eastern Kurdistan, 18 Iranian security personnel were killed.
According to HRANA, a human rights organization based in the United States, based on information from activists inside and outside Iran since the protests began (now in their second week), 490 protesters and 48 security force members have been killed, and more than 10,600 people arrested.
Meanwhile, for the first time, the Iranian government announced its own figures, stating that 111 security personnel were killed, 18 of them in Eastern Kurdistan provinces.
Official Iranian media report security force deaths in these provinces: Kermanshah (8), Lorestan (5), Ilam (4), and Urmia (1).
